Accurate beats cheap
A low quote built on wrong information is not a bargain, it is a bill you have not received yet. We would rather lose a sale than hand you a number that falls apart at renewal.
Home/About
RKC Financials and Insurance Services is a mobile insurance and financial services agency based in Claremore, Oklahoma. No storefront, no waiting room — just an agent who shows up, explains things properly, and keeps track of the details afterward.
Two things sit at the center of most households' financial lives: protecting what has already been built, and building what has to last. Insurance handles the first. Life products, annuities and retirement planning handle the second. RKC Financials and Insurance Services exists because those two conversations should not be happening in separate buildings with people who never speak to each other.
We serve Claremore and Rogers County — a market that runs from established neighborhoods in town, to fast-growing subdivisions out toward Verdigris and Owasso, to acreage and shop buildings around Inola, Oologah and Chelsea, to the industrial and contracting work that comes with being twenty minutes from the Port of Catoosa and the Tulsa metro.
Plenty of good agencies keep an office and expect you to come to it. That works fine for people whose schedule allows a weekday errand. It works badly for shift workers, contractors, nurses, drivers, parents with three activities a week, and anyone who has been meaning to sort out their life insurance for four years and has not found a Tuesday afternoon to do it.
Being mobile removes that friction. We come to your kitchen table, your job site or your shop, at a time that works — often evenings or weekends. If you would rather not meet in person at all, we can run the entire process over the phone with email and electronic signature. The appointment is built around your schedule instead of ours.
There is a second benefit that matters more than it sounds: when there is no storefront to pay for, the recommendation you get is not shaped by overhead. The right answer for you is sometimes a smaller policy, or keeping the coverage you already have. Those answers are easier to give honestly when the business is not built to demand otherwise.
Financial products get sold with a great deal of language designed to sound impressive. We would rather use short words. If a product has a surrender period, you will hear the words "your money is committed for this many years." If a guarantee depends on the insurance company staying solvent, you will hear that too, along with how to look up a carrier's financial strength rating yourself.
The same applies to insurance. If raising your deductible saves you money, we will say by how much and what it would cost you at claim time. If a competitor's quote is lower because it quietly stripped out uninsured motorist coverage, we will point at the line rather than just telling you we are better.
Insurance producers in this state are licensed and regulated by the Oklahoma Insurance Department, which also operates consumer assistance, a life insurance policy locator, and a complaint process for policyholders. We point clients toward that office deliberately. A well-informed customer is easier to work with, not harder.
We are not the cheapest number that will ever cross your phone. Anyone can go lower by removing coverage you did not notice, raising a deductible you did not read, or rating you on assumptions nobody verified. Our aim is to be the most accurate number you get, with every assumption visible.
And we are not a call center. You will deal with the same person for the auto policy, the life policy and the retirement conversation, and that person will remember your file the next time you call.
What guides the work
Simple standards, applied to every quote and every plan that leaves this agency.
A low quote built on wrong information is not a bargain, it is a bill you have not received yet. We would rather lose a sale than hand you a number that falls apart at renewal.
You should be able to say out loud what your deductible is, what your liability limit is, and what a product will not do. If you cannot, we have not finished our job.
Every option costs something — money, flexibility, or access to your funds. We say what that cost is before you sign, not after.
Mobile means available. Calls returned, appointments kept, and a real person on the line when something has gone wrong.
The community
Claremore sits on Route 66 at the edge of Green Country, the seat of Rogers County, home to the Will Rogers Memorial Museum and Rogers State University, with Claremore Lake to the south and Oologah Lake to the north. It is close enough to Tulsa that a great many people commute, and far enough out that plenty of families keep a few acres, a shop and a trailer.
That combination shapes the work. A commuter running the Turner Turnpike five days a week has different exposure than a contractor working out of a shop in Catoosa, and a retiree who paid off a house in town has different priorities than a family in a new build near Verdigris. All of them live within twenty minutes of each other, and all of them need a different answer.
Send your declarations pages or hand them over at the appointment. We will go through them line by line and tell you plainly what is solid, what is thin, and what is missing.
